Application Requirements

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Have completed 12 years of formal education in their home country or abroad.
  2. Have a financial sponsor who can reliably cover the applicant’s tuition and living expenses in Japan, and who can provide documents verifying the source of their financial resources.
  3. Have the intention to pursue further education at a vocational school (senmon gakko) in Japan.
  4. Have sufficient Japanese language ability at the time of application, as outlined below:
    • 2-Year Course
      – Equivalent to JLPT N5 or
      – At least 150 hours of Japanese language study
    • 1.5-Year Course
      – Equivalent to JLPT N4 or
      – At least 300 hours of Japanese language study

Application Documents

Documents Related to the Applicant

  1. Six color photos (4 cm × 3 cm, vertical) — Taken within the last 3 months, unedited.
  2. Application form, resume, and statement of purpose (using the school’s designated forms).
  3. Original diploma or graduation certificate of the highest completed education (if currently enrolled, a certificate of expected graduation).
  4. Academic transcripts for all years of the final school attended (if currently enrolled, a certificate of enrollment).
  5. Certificate of Japanese language study (at least 150 hours for the 2-year course / at least 300 hours for the 1.5-year course).
  6. Japanese language proficiency test results (certificates of passing JLPT, NAT-TEST, J-TEST, etc.).
  7. Certificate of employment (for applicable applicants only).
  8. Birth certificate or family register.
  9. Copy of passport (if available).
  10. Copy of identification card.
  11. Other documents requested by the school.

Documents Concerning the Financial Sponsor

  1. Financial Support Form (using the school’s designated form)
  2. Documents proving the relationship between the sponsor and the applicant
  3. Bank balance certificate
  4. Certificate of financial history (e.g., bank statements for the past 3 years)
  5. Certificate of employment (copy of business license if self-employed)
  6. Proof of income and tax payment certificates for the past 3 years

Note: Important Notes on Document Submission

  • Please submit the original documents for items such as graduation certificates that are issued only once.
  • For documents that can be issued multiple times, please submit the original copies issued within three months from the submission date.
  • If a document is written in a language other than Japanese, a Japanese translation must be attached.
  • Please note that documents other than certificates that are issued only once cannot be returned, as a general rule.

Tuition Fees

Once the document screening by our school and the residence status examination by the Immigration Bureau are completed, and the Certificate of Eligibility is issued, we will provide you with the Letter of Admission.
Please transfer the required enrollment fees to the designated bank account.
The Certificate of Eligibility will be handed over in exchange for the payment receipt.

Tuition Refund Policy

  • If the student withdraws before enrollment:
    The amount paid minus a 15,000 yen administrative fee will be refunded to the student or the financial sponsor.
  • If the student withdraws after enrollment:
    Tuition, facility, and equipment fees will be prorated. Other fees will be refunded excluding the actual cost of used services. In this case, the refund will be the amount remaining after deducting either 50,000 yen or 20% of the remaining tuition fees, whichever is less, and will be paid to the student or the financial sponsor.

Admission Process

Submission of application documents to the Immigration Bureau and visa issuance usually take 4 to 6 months.
Applicants wishing to enroll in the 2-year course (April admission) should aim to apply by the end of October of the previous year.
Those applying for the 1 year and 6 months course (October admission) should aim to apply by the end of May of the same year.

(1) Submit documents and pay the application fee.
(2) We will conduct the admission screening.
If you pass, we will apply for the Certificate of Eligibility at the Immigration Bureau.
(3) We will inform you of the result of the Certificate of Eligibility issuance.
(4) We will send you the Admission Permit.
(5) Please make the payment.
(6) After confirming your payment, we will send you the Certificate of Eligibility.
(7) After receiving the documents, please apply for a student visa at the Japanese embassy or consulate in your country.
(8) Arrange your flight and inform the school of your arrival date.
(9) Enter Japan.
