At Japanese College Fukuyama, we offer two courses tailored to each student’s Japanese proficiency.
Our experienced teachers provide personalized guidance, closely supporting each student’s learning style and goals.
Additionally, with practical lessons and a comprehensive support system, we create an environment that maximizes students’ Japanese language abilities.
2-Year Academic Course
This course starts in April and graduates in March two years later.
It is designed for students with basic Japanese skills at the A1 level, aiming to acquire the Japanese proficiency needed to enter a vocational school within two years.
1.5-Year Academic Course
This course starts in October and ends in March one and a half years later.
It is designed for students with basic Japanese skills at the A2 level, aiming to acquire the Japanese proficiency needed to enter a vocational school within one and a half years.

Japanese College Fukuyama is located about 2 km south of JR Fukuyama Station, in the center of Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture.
Fukuyama is situated in the heart of the Seto Inland Sea area and has developed as an important hub in the Bingo region.
It lies between Hiroshima Airport and Okayama Airport, providing easy access to destinations across Japan and overseas from both airports.
In addition, the Shinkansen trains “Nozomi” and “Sakura” stop here, and major expressways are well developed, making transportation very convenient.
Fukuyama Station was built inside the former castle grounds, where you can see impressive stone walls and the main keep up close from the platform.
On the seaside, you will find Tomonoura, a scenic spot representing Setonaikai National Park, known as a historic “waiting port for the tide.”
The city is also famous for its one million blooming roses, which delight visitors and warm their hearts.
Furthermore, Fukuyama is close to popular tourist destinations such as Hiroshima City, Onomichi City, and Kurashiki City, allowing easy day trips on weekends.
